do you ever meet people and they remind you of a song?

probably not, but i do.
yesterday, there was someone in the shop moaning about misfortune and being a martyr about everything, and i just wanted to sing that old song 'THREE WHEELS ON MY WAGON, AND I'M STILL ROLLING ALONG...'
do you remember it?
no?
you mean you have absolutely no idea what i'm on about?
i'd better head for youtube to see if i can find a recording then...

I find myself whistling the Laurel and Hardy tune when people are getting really worked up...

it never seems to help them calm down though.

i can still sing songs right through, word perfect, from way back in time.
yet i don't remember people's names very well.
